1/4 · I took a fall a month or so ago where my handlebar went between two rocks and my brake lever took the full impact - bent the lever 90 degrees, but it didn't break. I'm pretty sure the M8020 lever is not plastic because of this. There was no way it was going to get bent back - I'm pretty sure it would have snapped if I had tried.

Use a 4mm Allen key to loosen the brake lever bar clamp. Rotate the lever such that it is horizontal with the ground and tighten. Use a 2.5mm 

the torque spec on the bleed nipple on an XT caliper is 4-6Nm, not 7Nm. I've never stuck a torque wrench on my bleed nipples and I've never had 

6/16 · The lever blade from a xt m8000 will not fit in the xt m8100. Installed these today and they fit like a glove. Currently with the pandemic, Shimano parts are far and few. If you snap your lever blade and cannot find a replacement from Shimano these are the way to go. Share.
